Spring Break Day 3: The Great Outdoors
Explore the hidden worlds of the National Parks, including Kenai Fjords, Hawai'i Volcanoes, Carlsbad Caverns, Bryce Canyon, and Dry Tortugas.
Learn about the "Leave No Trace" principles of the National Park Service.
Take a virtual tour of the U.S. Botanic Garden, and check out the "stickwork installation," which is a sculpture woven from plant materials! (Watch this time-lapse video of how it was created over the course of three weeks.)
If you have adult permission, try this leaf chromatography experiment, or go on a nature scavenger hunt!
