The mission of the Dwight D. Eisenhower Middle School Library Program is to collaborate with all staff and students to encourage a lifelong love of reading, build information literacy skills, and nurture research and inquiry while sparking creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking.

Library Policies
Circulation:

Each student is allowed to check out 2 books and 1 magazine for a 2 week period.

Materials may be renewed one time.

Materials that are overdue will be issued a fine until the materials are returned.

Visiting the Library:
​
Students may visit the library to search independent reading titles with a pass from the classroom teacher.

All students must sign in as they enter.

Only three students per teacher may visit at the same time.

Students will be asked to return to class after 10 minutes.
​​
Students who need extra time or assistance with assignments may visit the library during recess with a pass written by the classroom teacher. The pass must specify a specific date, time, and assignment they will be researching.
