The mission of the Dwight D. Eisenhower Middle School Library Program is to collaborate with all staff and students to encourage a lifelong love of reading, build information literacy skills, and nurture research and inquiry while sparking creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking.

Library Policies
Circulation: ​

Each student is allowed to check out 3 books for a 3-week period. 5th graders will begin the school year with 1-2 books at a time.

Materials may be renewed one time.

Materials that are checked out to another student may be placed on hold for you by the librarian. You will be contacted when they are available.

Visiting the Library:​
Students may visit the library to search independent reading titles with an electronic pass approved by the classroom teacher.

The pass must specify the purpose for the visit.

Only three students per teacher may visit at the same time.

Students will be asked to return to class after 10 minutes.

Students who need extra time or assistance with assignments may visit the library during recess with an appointment pass created by the end of advisory. The pass must specify a specific date, time, and purpose for the visit.
